Terms & Conditions and Waiver

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking and using the facilities of Studio Photo 18 ("the Studio"), the client ("Client") fully accepts

and agrees to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

2. Payment & Reservation

- Full payment must be received via Stripe or bank transfer prior to the rental period.

- Rental time includes setup and cleanup; exceeding the time slot will result in additional charges.

3. Use of Premises & Conduct

- The Client is permitted access only for the agreed rental period and for a maximum of four (4)

people.

- Outdoor shoes/boots are strictly prohibited; only indoor shoes or socks are permitted.

- The Client is responsible for the proper use, care, and handling of all equipment, props, and

furniture.

- The Studio must be left in its original condition; all equipment and props used must be returned to

their original place.

- Damage, loss, or cleaning beyond normal use will be charged to the Client, including $5 per linear

foot for damaged paper backdrops.

4. Cleaning & Restoration Fees

- Excessive cleaning, removal of trash, or restoration of the studio due to misuse will be billed at a

minimum fee of $50.

- If the Client uses glitter, confetti, or any other messy props, a set cleaning fee will apply.

5. Overtime Policy

- Any use of the studio beyond the reserved time will be billed in 15-minute increments at a rate of

$80 per hour. Overtime is subject to availability and may not always be granted.

6. Prohibited Activities

- The following are strictly prohibited:

- Alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, pets, open flames, and smoke/fog machines

- Weapons of any kind

- Adult or explicit content without written permission

- Pyrotechnics or similar hazardous activities

- The Client shall ensure the studio doors are locked at all times and shall not share door codes.

7. Parking and Personal Vehicles

- Clients using the parking facilities do so at their own risk. Studio Photo 18 is not responsible for

theft or damage to vehicles parked on or near the property.

8. Children/Minors

- Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times. The Client assumes full

responsibility for their safety.

9. Liability Waiver - Injury & Personal Property

- The Studio is not liable for any injury, accident, or incident occurring on the premises, except

where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

- The Client assumes all risks of personal injury to themselves or their guests resulting from misuse

or negligence in the use of the Studio, equipment, or facilities.

- The Studio is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to personal or third-party property brought

onto the premises.

- The Client and all participants waive any and all claims against Studio Photo 18, its owners,

agents, and employees, for injuries, damages, losses, or expenses, except where resulting from

gross negligence or willful misconduct of Studio Photo 18.

10. Intellectual Property & Copyright Waiver

- The Client is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary releases, permissions, and licenses for

any materials used or created during the rental.

- The Studio expressly disclaims all responsibility and liability for any copyright or intellectual

property infringement committed by the Client during or after the use of the Studio.

- By booking, the Client waives any claim against Studio Photo 18 regarding disputes, costs, or

damages arising from copyright or intellectual property matters.

11. Date Change & Cancellation Policy

- More than 72 hours before booking:

- Date changes are allowed at no cost.

- For cancellations, a 5% processing fee applies (non-refundable).

- 24 to 72 hours before booking:

- Date changes are permitted with a 10% non-refundable fee.

- For cancellations, a 30% non-refundable fee applies.

- Less than 24 hours before booking:

- No date changes or refunds are possible.

- Only one date change is permitted per booking.

We keep our cancellation policy clear and fair to protect both our clients and our studio. When

bookings are cancelled or changed, we incur administrative costs and non-refundable payment

processing fees (such as Stripe transaction fees). Additionally, late changes or cancellations often

mean we cannot offer the time slot to another client, resulting in lost opportunities and revenue. This

policy allows us to maintain a high level of service and fairness for everyone.

12. Code of Conduct & Immediate Termination

- Any disruptive, unsafe, or damaging behavior, or failure to comply with studio policies, may result

in immediate termination of the booking without refund.

13. Amendments

- Studio Photo 18 reserves the right to amend these terms at any time, with notification provided to

all clients in the event of substantial changes.

14. Agreement

- By booking and using the studio, the Client acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to

these Terms & Conditions, including the waivers above.

A liability form must be signed before use of the studio. Arrival is required 5 minutes prior to the

reserved time for check-in
